INBJUDAN TILL HERR B

MC Magma is going to show for the first time in Italy a video  projection by young Swedish artist Annika Larsson.

Born  in Stockholm in 1972 she has studied at the  Royal College of Fine Arts, she now lives in Stockholm and New York. She has been working for quite sometimes now as a fotographer and videomaker for Vanessa Beecroft, who has produced one of her videos “816”.

Annika Larsson  is going to show a video titled “Inbjudan till Herr B” (“Invite by Herr B”). Beautiful and misterious, these images remainds  of the atmosphere of Fritz Lang film “noir” and Francis Bacon characters. The leading characters are businnes men  invited at a strange party at “Herr B” home. No one knows who is Herr B and why he is so important and influential for his guests. A morbid and subtle sadism underlines  an intriguing and paradoxical mechanism of power.
